LDPE is a highly crystalline non-polar thermoplastic resin producedthrough the copolymerization of ethylene and a small amount ofα-olefin monomer.HDPE is synthesized under low pressure andis therefore also called low-pressure polyethylene. HDPE is mainlya linear molecular structure and has little branching. It has a highdegree of crystallization and high density. HDPE is suitable for many plastic molding methods. Blow moldingcan be used for making various types of bottles, cans andindustrial tanks and barrels. Injection molding is used for makingvarious containers and goods of daily use, such as basins, barrelsand baskets and furniture.
